Make Money / any numeric value MAXIMUM OR MINIMUM in any game. Eg. make money MAXIMUM in 2min. in any gta game without completing any mission

So Guys to make money or any numeric value which is used for your progress in any game there is a software named CHEAT ENGINE . It is just like a god gift for game lovers who wants to make highest scores in any game

1st Step - Download this software from the                link below and install it.
              DOWNLOAD CHEAT ENGINE
           {BY CLICKING IN ABOVE LINK}

2nd step - Read the article below and know how to use it----

First of all, click the nice computer button in the left top corner of Cheat Engine.

When you clicked this button you can select a process. Look for your game in the list. If the name is not in there, try looking for game.exe. When you selected your game successfully, "No Process Selected" in the middle changes to your game process.

How do I use my Cheat Engine?

 http://wiki.cheatengine.org/images/c/c8/Cheat_Engine_Instructions.png

Here you can see the top half of Cheat Engine. I will now tell you what most of it is for.
1. Here you enter the value you want to search for. You can search for anything, like health and score.
2. Scan values. You can search for different kinds of values here, such as Exact Value, Smaller or Bigger than, Value Between, and Unknown Initial value. The exact value gives you the option to find exactly what you enter. Smaller and bigger than searches for smaller or bigger numbers, so not the entered value included. Unknown initial value is if you don't know what it's yet but you do know it's there. If it's the second search, you can select more. On the second search, you can search for increased or decreased value, for if the value has decreased or increased. Another one is changed value, for if the value has changed, but you don't know what it is. Unchanged value is for if the value is the same as the previous scan. And last, the search for if it's the same as the first scan. Which is quite obvious of what it does.
3. Here you can search for binary, (Single, 2, 4, 8) bytes, binary, float, double, Text, and Array of Bytes.
4. The settings. They actually do exactly as they state they do.
5. The place where the search results will appear.
6. Speedhack, this hack is used to make your game go faster or slower.
7. The search buttons. The buttons will change according to your search numbers.

for more information watch this video---            HOW TO USE CHEAT ENGINE

Delete An "undeletable" File

Delete An "undeletable" File Open a Command Prompt window and leave it open. Close all open programs. Click Start, Run and enter TASKMGR.EXE Go to the Processes tab and End Process on Explorer.exe. Leave Task Manager open. Go back to the Command Prompt window and change to the directory the AVI (or other undeletable file) is located in. At the command prompt type DEL where is the file you wish to delete. Go back to Task Manager, click File, New Task and enter EXPLORER.EXE to restart the GUI shell. Close Task Manager. Or you can try this Open Notepad.exe Click File>Save As..> locate the folder where ur undeletable file is Choose 'All files' from the file type box click once on the file u wanna delete so its name appears in the 'filename' box put a " at the start and end of the filename (the filename should have the extension of the undeletable file so it will overwrite it) click save, It should ask u to overwrite the existing file, choose yes and u can delete it as normal Here's a manual way of doing it. I'll take this off once you put into your first post zain. 1. Start 2. Run 3. Type: command 4. To move into a directory type: cd c:\*** (The stars stand for your folder) 5. If you cannot access the folder because it has spaces for example Program Files or Kazaa Lite folder you have to do the following. instead of typing in the full folder name only take the first 6 letters then put a ~ and then 1 without spaces. Example: cd c:\progra~1\kazaal~1 6. Once your in the folder the non-deletable file it in type in dir - a list will come up with everything inside. 7. Now to delete the file type in del ***.bmp, txt, jpg, avi, etc... And if the file name has spaces you would use the special 1st 6 letters followed by a ~ and a 1 rule. Example: if your file name was bad file.bmp you would type once in the specific folder thorugh command, del badfil~1.bmp and your file should be gone. Make sure to type in the correct extension.

GOOGLE I'M FEELING LUCKY

The button may have been named as a play on the Clint Eastwood line in the movie Dirty Harry. "Do you feel lucky, punk? Well, do you?" Ordinarily when you type in a key phrase in a Google search, you press the search button, (you can also just press return or enter on your keyboard) and Google returns a results page that shows multiple Web sites matching your search phrase. The I'm Feeling Lucky button skips the search results page and goes directly to the first ranked page for that search phrase. If you type "white house" in the search box and press I'm Feeling Lucky, you'll go straight to www.whitehouse.gov. If you type "apple" into the search box and press I'm Feeling Lucky, you'll go directly to Apple Computer's Web site. I'm Feeling Lucky is handy if you're fairly confident that the first result in the search engine is going to be exactly the page you want to find. It saves time and clicking to just go to the page with the first click.

How to rip Dynamic Flash Template

How to Rip TM Dynamic Flash Templates by: Baisan What you need: Sample dynamic flash template from TM website Sothink SWF Decompiler Macromedia Flash Yourself 1. browse or search your favorite dynamic flash template in TM website. If you got one... click the "view" link and new window will open with dynamic flash.. loading... 2. If the movie fully loaded, click View -> Source in your browser to bring the source code of the current page and in the source code, search for "IFRAME" and you will see the iframe page. In this example were going to try the 7045 dynamic template. get the URL(ex. http://images.templatemonster.com/screenshots/7000/7045.html) then paste it to your browser... easy eh? wait! dont be to excited... erase the .html and change it to swf then press enter then you'll see the flash movie again icon_smile.gif. 3. copy the URL and download that SWF file.. use your favorite download manager.. mine I used flashget icon_smile.gif NOTE: dont close the browser we may need that later on. 4. open your Sothink SWF decompiler... click "Quick Open" then browse where you download your SWF/movie file. Click Export FLA to export your SWF to FLA, in short, save it as FLA icon_smile.gif 5. Open your Macromedia FLash and open the saved FLA file. press Control+Enter or publish the file... then wallah! the output window will come up with "Error opening URL blah blah blah..." dont panic, that error will help you where to get the remaining files. 6. Copy the first error, example: "7045_main.html" then go back to your browser and replace the 7045.swf to 7045_main.html press enter and you'll see a lot of text... nonsense text icon_lol.gif that text are your contents... NOTE: when you save the remaining files dont forget to save with underscore sign (_) in the front on the file without the TM item number (e.g. 7045) if it is html save it as "_main.html" and same with the image save it as "_works1.jpg" save them where you save the FLA and SWF files. Continue browsing the file inside Flash application so you can track the remaining files... do the same until you finish downloading all the remaining the files.

Hacking Unix

hacking UNIX with me IN THE FOLLOWING FILE, ALL REFERENCES MADE TO THE NAME UNIX, MAY ALSO BE SUBSTITUTED TO THE XENIX OPERATING SYSTEM. BRIEF HISTORY: BACK IN THE EARLY SIXTIES, DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIRD GENERATION COMPUTERS AT MIT, A GROUP OF PROGRAMMERS STUDYING THE POTENTIAL OF COMPUTERS, DISCOVERED THEIR ABILITY OF PERFORMING TWO OR MORE TASKS SIMULTANEOUSLY. BELL LABS, TAKING NOTICE OF THIS DISCOVERY, PROVIDED FUNDS FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENTAL SCIENTISTS TO INVESTIGATE INTO THIS NEW FRONTIER. AFTER ABOUT 2 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENTAL RESEARCH, THEY PRODUCED AN OPERATING SYSTEM THEY CANLMD "UNIX". SIXTIES TO CURRENT: DURING THIS TIME BELL SYSTEMS INSTALLED THE UNIX SYSTEM TO PROVIDE THEIR COMPUTER OPERATORS WITH THE ABILITY TO MULTITASK SO THAT THEY COULD BECOME MORE PRODUCTIVE, AND EFFICIENT. ONE OF THE SYSTEMS THEY PUT ON THE UNIX SYSTEM WAS CALLED "ELMOS". THROUGH ELMOS MANY TASKS (I.E. BILLING,AND INSTALLATION RECORDS) COULD BE DONE BY MANY PEOPLE USING THE SAME MAINFRAME. NOTE: COSMOS IS ACCESSED THROUGH THE ELMOS SYSTEM. CURRENT: TODAY, WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF MICRO COMPUTERS, SUCH MULTITASKING CAN BE ACHIEVED BY A SCALED DOWN VERSION OF UNIX (BUT JUST AS POWERFUL). MICROSOFT,SEEING THIS DEVELOPMENT, OPTED TO DEVELOP THEIR OWN UNIX LIKE SYSTEM FOR THE IBM LINE OF PC/XT'S. THEIR RESULT THEY CALLED XENIX (PRONOUNCED ZEE-NICKS). BOTH UNIX AND XENIX CAN BE EASILY INSTALLED ON IBM PC'S AND OFFER THE SAME FUNCTION (JUST 2 DIFFERENT VENDORS). NOTE: DUE TO THE MANY DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF UNIX (BERKLEY UNIX, BELL SYSTEM III, AND SYSTEM V THE MOST POPULAR) MANY COMMANDS FOLLOWING MAY/MAY NOT WORK. I HAVE WRITTEN THEM IN SYSTEM V ROUTINES. UNIX/XENIX OPERATING SYSTEMS WILL BE CONSIDERED IDENTICAL SYSTEMS BELOW. HOW TO TELL IF/IF NOT YOU ARE ON A UNIX SYSTEM: UNIX SYSTEMS ARE QUITE COMMON SYSTEMS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THEIR SECURITY APPEARS AS SUCH: LOGIN; (OR LOGIN;) PASSWORD: WHEN HACKING ON A UNIX SYSTEM IT IS BEST TO USE LOWERCASE BECAUSE THE UNIX SYSTEM COMMANDS ARE ALL DONE IN LOWER- CASE. LOGIN; IS A 1-8 CHARACTER FIELD. IT IS USUALLY THE NAME (I.E. JOE OR FRED) OF THE USER, OR INITIALS (I.E. J.JONES OR F.WILSON). HINTS FOR LOGIN NAMES CAN BE FOUND TRASHING THE LOCATION OF THE DIAL-UP (USE YOUR CN/A TO FIND WHERE THE COMPUTER IS). PASSWORD: IS A 1-8 CHARACTER PASSWORD ASSIGNED BY THE SYSOP OR CHOSEN BY THE USER. COMMON DEFAULT LOGINS -------------------------- LOGIN; PASSWORD: ROOT ROOT,SYSTEM,ETC.. SYS SYS,SYSTEM DAEMON DAEMON UUCP UUCP TTY TTY TEST TEST UNIX UNIX BIN BIN ADM ADM WHO WHO LEARN LEARN UUHOST UUHOST NUUCP NUUCP IF YOU GUESS A LGIN NAME AND YOU ARE NOT ASKED FOR A PASSWORD, AND HAVE ACCESSED TO THE SYSTEM, THEN YOU HAVE WHAT IS KNOWN AS A NON-GIFTED ACCOUNT. IF YOU GUESS A CORRECT LOGIN AND PASS- WORD, THEN YOU HAVE A USER ACCOUNT. AND, IF YOU GUESS THE ROOT PASSWORD, THEN YOU HAVE A "SUPER-USER" ACCOUNT. ALL UNIX SYSTEMS HAVE THE FOLLOWING INSTALLED TO THEIR SYSTEM: ROOT, SYS, BIN, DAEMON, UUCP, ADM ONCE YOU ARE IN THE SYSTEM, YOU WILL GET A PROMPT. COMMON PROMPTS ARE: $ % # BUT CAN BE JUST ABOUT ANYTHING THE SYSOP OR USER WANTS IT TO BE. THINGS TO DO WHEN YOU ARE IN: SOME OF THE COMMANDS THAT YOU MAY WANT TO TRY FOLLOW BELOW: WHO IS ON (SHOWS WHO IS CURRENTLY LOGGED ON THE SYSTEM.) WRITE NAME (NAME IS THE PERSON YOU WISH TO CHAT WITH) TO EXIT CHAT MODE TRY CTRL-D. EOT=END OF TRANSFER. LS -A (LIST ALL FILES IN CURRENT DIRECTORY.) DU -A (CHECKS AMOUNT OF MEMORY YOUR FILES USE;DISK USAGE) CD\NAME (NAME IS THE NAME OF THE SUB-DIRECTORY YOU CHOOSE) CD\ (BRINGS YOUR HOME DIRECTORY TO CURRENT USE) CAT NAME (NAME IS A FILENAME EITHER A PROGRAM OR DOCUMENTATION YOUR USERNAME HAS WRITTEN) MOST UNIX PROGRAMS ARE WRITTEN IN THE C LANGUAGE OR PASCAL SINCE UNIX IS A PROGRAMMERS' ENVIRONMENT. ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS DONE ON THE SYSTEM IS PRINT UP OR CAPTURE (IN A BUFFER) THE FILE CONTAINING ALL USER NAMES AND ACCOUNTS. THIS CAN BE DONE BY DOING THE FOLLOWING COMMAND: CAT /ETC/PASSWD IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL A LIST OF ALL ACCOUNTS ON THE SYSTEM. IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE THIS: ROOT:HVNSDCF:0:0:ROOT DIR:/: JOE:MAJDNFD:1:1:JOE COOL:/BIN:/BIN/JOE HAL::1:2:HAL SMITH:/BIN:/BIN/HAL THE "ROOT" LINE TELLS THE FOLLOWING INFO : LOGIN NAME=ROOT HVNSDCF = ENCRYPTED PASSWORD 0 = USER GROUP NUMBER 0 = USER NUMBER ROOT DIR = NAME OF USER / = ROOT DIRECTORY IN THE JOE LOGIN, THE LAST PART "/BIN/JOE " TELLS US WHICH DIRECTORY IS HIS HOME DIRECTORY (JOE) IS. IN THE "HAL" EXAMPLE THE LOGIN NAME IS FOLLOWED BY 2 COLONS, THAT MEANS THAT THERE IS NO PASSWORD NEEDED TO GET IN USING HIS NAME. CONCLUSION: I HOPE THAT THIS FILE WILL HELP OTHER NOVICE UNIX HACKERS OBTAIN ACCESS TO THE UNIX/XENIX SYSTEMS THAT THEY MAY FIND. THERE IS STILL WIDE GROWTH IN THE FUTURE OF UNIX, SO I HOPE USERS WILL NOT ABUSE ANY SYSTEMS (UNIX OR ANY OTHERS) THAT THEY MAY HAPPEN ACROSS ON THEIR JOURNEY ACROSS THE ELECTRONIC HIGHWAYS OF AMERICA. THERE IS MUCH MORE TO BE LEARNED ABOUT THE UNIX SYSTEM THAT I HAVE NOT COVERED. thanks:

Doom 3 Speed Up, Guaranteed 40% better

***NOTE*** THIS ONLY WORKS FOR ATI CARDS

First, open your doom3\base folder. Doubleclick on the pak000.pk4 file. In the "window can't open this file .. .bla bla" dialog, go on and associate the file with an app like WinRar. With this file open in WinRar, go to the glprogs directory in the file. In there you'll find the shaders. The interaction.vfp file seems to be the main rendering shader. Altering this shader to output a constant color turns most objects into that constant color, except for stuff like computer screens etc.

So doubleclick the interaction.vfp file to open it (you may have to associate the .vfp extension with a text editor like notepad or wordpad first since we're going to edit the file). Scroll down to the fragment shader. You'll find these rows:

Code:

PARAM subOne = { -1, -1, -1, -1 };
PARAM scaleTwo = { 2, 2, 2, 2 };

Add this right below them:

Code:

PARAM specExp = { 16, 0, 0, 0 };

Now scroll down to this:

Code:

# perform a dependent table read for the specular falloff
TEX R1, specular, texture[6], 2D;

Comment out that line by adding a "#" to it, and add another line that will do the same thing with math instead, so it should look like this:

Code:

# perform a dependent table read for the specular falloff
# TEX R1, specular, texture[6], 2D;
POW R1, specular.x, specExp.x;

Save the file and close your text editor. WinRar will ask if you want to update the file in the archive, select yes. Close WinRar and enjoy about 40% higher performance in Doom3.

CREATING OWN AUTORUN FOR UR CD

If you wanna make a autorun file for that CD you are ready to burn just read this... 1) You open notepad 2) now you writ: [autorun] OPEN=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXE ICON=INSTALL\Setup_filename.EXE Now save it but not as a .txt file but as a .inf file. But remember! The "Setup_filename.EXE" MUST be replaced with the name of the setup file. And you also need to rember that it is not all of the setup files there are called '.exe but some are called '.msi 3) Now burn your CD with the autorun .inf file included. 4) Now set the CD in you CD drive and wait for the autorun to begin or if nothing happens just double-click on the CD drive in "This Computer"

Make A Roughly 16 Hour Video Dvd

3 things are needed 1. Proper Codecs 2. TMPGEnc 3 Express (Best for this job IMO) 3. TMPGEnc DVD Author (Dual Layer Edition) simply start a new project in TMPGEnc 3 Express, Set the output for said file as an NTSC MPEG1 (VIDEO CD) Make sure you set at NTSC (TMPGENC WILL ONLY ACCEPT IF FRAMERATE IS 29.97 FPS) once you have made roughly 8 hours / 16 hours depending... of video files open TMPGEnc DVD Author.. Simply press "SOURCE SETUP" you will notice you can set up multiple 'tracks' if you add more than one file to 1 track, the program automatically sets up 'chapters' just add your video files (and follow the steps in the program).. it will take roughly an hour or 2 to do an 8 hour disc, maybe 3 or 4 for a 16 hour disc (i don't have a dual layer burner but i am sure that it works).. THESE WORK IN PLAYSTATION 2's!!! I KNOW BECAUSE ITS HOW I MAKE MINE AT TIMES... only way i know to get this much footage (And have it still work in something as simple as a ps2)

CUSTOMIZE XP START WITH YOUR TXT

Step 1 - Modify Explorer.exe File

In order to make the changes, the file explorer.exe located at C:\Windows needs to be edited. Since explorer.exe is a binary file it requires a special editor. For purposes of this article I have used Resource Hacker. Resource HackerTM is a freeware utility to view, modify, rename, add, delete and extract resources in 32bit Windows executables and resource files (*.res). It incorporates an internal resource script compiler and decompiler and works on Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.

get this from h**p://delphi.icm.edu.pl/ftp/tools/ResHack.zip

The first step is to make a backup copy of the file explorer.exe located at C:\Windows\explorer. Place it in a folder somewhere on your hard drive where it will be safe. Start Resource Hacker and open explorer.exe located at C:\Windows\explorer.exe.

The category we are going to be using is "String Table". Expand it by clicking the plus sign then navigate down to and expand string 37 followed by highlighting 1033. If you are using the Classic Layout rather than the XP Layout, use number 38. The right hand pane will display the stringtable. We’re going to modify item 578, currently showing the word “start” just as it displays on the current Start button.

There is no magic here. Just double click on the word “start” so that it’s highlighted, making sure the quotation marks are not part of the highlight. They need to remain in place, surrounding the new text that you’ll type. Go ahead and type your new entry. In my case I used Click Me!

You’ll notice that after the new text string has been entered the Compile Script button that was grayed out is now active. I won’t get into what’s involved in compiling a script, but suffice it to say it’s going to make this exercise worthwhile. Click Compile Script and then save the altered file using the Save As command on the File Menu. Do not use the Save command – Make sure to use the Save As command and choose a name for the file. Save the newly named file to C:\Windows.

Step 2 – Modify the Registry

!!!make a backup of your registry before making changes!!!

Now that the modified explorer.exe has been created it’s necessary to modify the registry so the file will be recognized when the user logs on to the system. If you don’t know how to access the registry I’m not sure this article is for you, but just in case it’s a temporary memory lapse, go to Start (soon to be something else) Run and type regedit in the Open field. Navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion\ Winlogon

In the right pane, double click the "Shell" entry to open the Edit String dialog box. In Value data: line, enter the name that was used to save the modified explorer.exe file. Click OK.

Close Registry Editor and either log off the system and log back in, or reboot the entire system if that’s your preference. If all went as planned you should see your new Start button with the revised text.[/b]

Configuring ZoneAlarm Security Settings

Configuring ZoneAlarm Security Settings
(

If you're running ZoneAlarm Pro you will probably have considered that most of the "advanced" settings might as well be in Chinese for all the use they are. User friendly they are not!

If you are not on a LAN (connected to another computer in a network) you can use this guide to give your firewall some real muscle and a new lease of life:

Launch ZoneAlarm Pro and click to highlight the "Firewall" tab on the left hand side . In the pane that appears on the right hand side in the section "Internet Zone Security" set the slider control to "High" Then click the "Custom" button in the same section.

The next settings page is divided into two sections with tabs Internet Zone and Trusted Zone at the top of the page. Under the Internet Zone tab there is a list of settings that can be accessed by scrolling. At the top is the high security settings and the only thing that should check from there is "allow broadcast/multicast". The rest should be unchecked.

Scroll down until you get to the medium security settings area. Check all the boxes in this section until you get to "Block Incomming UDP Ports". When you check that you will be asked to supply a list of ports, and in the field at the bottom of the page enter 1-65535

Then go back to the list and check the box alongside "Block Outgoing UDP Ports" and at the bottom of the page enter 1-19, 22-79, 82-7999, 8082-65535

Repeat this proceedure for the following settings
"Block Incomming TCP Ports": 1-65535
"Block Outgoing TCP Ports": 1-19, 22-79, 82-7999, 8082-65535
Then click "Apply", "Ok" at the bottom of the page.

Back in the right hand "Firewall" pane go next to the yellow "Trusted Zone Security" section and set it to "high" with the slider. Click "Custom" and repeat the above proceedure this time choosing the Trusted Zone tab at the top of the settings page.

These settings will stop all incoming packets @ports 1-65535 and also block all pings, trojans etc... this will also stop all spyware or applications from phoning home from your drive without your knowledge!

Mastering The Windows XP Registry

The Recovery Console
The Windows XP Recovery Console is a tool that allows recovery from a number of failures. Previously, all you could do was boot another copy of Windows XP and hack your way around, replacing files, even registry components, in the blind hope that you would somehow fix the problem.
With Windows XP, you have two tools to use: the Recovery Console and the Safe Mode feature.
The Recovery Console is a powerful, simple (no, that's not an oxymoron!) feature that is supplied with Windows XP, but it is not installed by default. The Windows XP Safe Mode works in the same manner as the Safe Mode found in other versions of Windows. You can modify a number of system settings using Safe Mode (such as video modes). Installing the Recovery Console after the system has failed is quite like locking the barn door
after the horse has been stolen—it really won't work that well.

Installing the Recovery Console
The Recovery Console must be installed before disaster strikes. It will be difficult (maybe even impossible) to install it after a disaster has reared its ugly head. So, let's install the Recovery Console right now.

First, you must use the Windows XP distribution CD (or share containing the appropriate files, if installing from a network device). The Recovery Console is installed using the winnt32.exe program. The winnt32.exe program is the same program that is used to install Windows XP; however, by selecting the correct option, you are able to tell winnt32.exe to not install Windows XP, but to install the Recovery Console instead.

Note It is not possible to install the Recovery Console at the same time as Windows XP. You must first install Windows XP, then install the Recovery Console. If you have multiple copies of Windows XP installed, it is only necessary to install the Recovery Console one time—the Recovery Console will work with as many copies of Windows XP as are
installed.

Follow these steps to install the Recovery Console from the Windows XP distribution CD:
1. Insert the distribution CD and change into the i386 directory.
2. Run winnt32.exe using the /cmdcons option. Typically, no other options are needed, though some users may wish to specify source options, especially if installing from a network share rather than a hard drive.
3. The installation program contacts Microsoft to check for updates to this Windows XP component.

Figure 2.3: Windows XP's Dynamic Update uses the Internet to retrieve the latest files directly from Microsoft.
4. The winnt32.exe program opens the dialog box shown in Figure 2.4. This dialog box allows you to cancel the installation if you need to. Note that multiple installations of the Recovery Console will simply overwrite previous installations; in such cases, no error is generated.

Figure 2.4: Setting up the Recovery Console using winnt32/cmdcons by passes all other setup options.
5. If there are no errors, the dialog box shown in Figure 2.5 is displayed. The Recovery Console is ready for use at this point.

Figure 2.5: The Recovery console has been successfully installed.

What's in the Recovery Console?

The Recovery Console consists of a minor modification to the boot.ini file, and the addition of a hidden directory on the boot drive. The added directory's name is cmdcons. The change to the boot.ini file is simply the addition of another line providing for a new boot option:
C:\cmdcons\bootsect.dat="Microsoft Windows Recovery console" /cmdcons
This option consists of a fully qualified file name (C:\cmdcons\bootsect.dat), a text description (Microsoft Windows Recovery Console), and a boot option (/cmdcons).
As everyone should be well aware, the Windows XP Boot Manager is able to boot virtually any operating system (assuming that the operating system is compatible with the currently installed file system).

How Windows XP Supports Booting other Operating Systems
Windows XP can be told to "boot" any directory or file location. For example, the Recovery Console is saved in the cmdcons directory. In the cmdcons directory is a 512-byte file named bootsect.dat. Windows XP will treat a file named bootsect.dat exactly as if it were a hard disk's boot sector. In fact, one could, theoretically, copy the bootsect.dat file to a drive's boot sector location and cause that operating system to be booted directly.

One use for this technology is in a multiple-boot configuration where the other operating system or systems are not compatible with Windows NT (such as Windows 95/98/Me).
The Recovery Console does qualify as an operating system, though it is very simple—and limited.
A major question will always be this: is the Recovery Console secure? In most situations, the
Recovery Console is actually quite secure. The user, at startup of the Recovery Console, is prompted for two pieces of information:
• Which Windows XP installation is to be repaired (assuming that there is more than one Windows XP installation!).
• The Administrator's password for that installation. The Recovery Console then uses the installation's SAM to validate this password to ensure the user has the necessary permission to use the system.
A situation comes to mind: if the Administrator's password is lost or otherwise compromised, not only may it be impossible to use the Recovery Console, but anyone with access to the compromised password could modify the system with the Recovery Console. This is not really an issue, though. If the Administrator's password is lost, that's life. It will be difficult, if not impossible, to recover the password. If the security of the Administrator's password is compromised, then it will be necessary to repair the damage—changing the password is mandatory in this case. In either case, the Recovery Console is no less secure than Windows XP is.
The cmdcons directory holds over 100 files.

BOOT WINDOW 7 FROM PEN DRIVE

My genius reader here TODAY  I like to share one of the most necessary tricks ie making WINDOWS 7 "BOOTABLE" From Pendrive.

Today tricks is very useful for those use a mini laptop that don't have optical drive. which is very much required in a time when you want to  FORMAT your Drive to install a fresh new OS. This trick also Provide OS Portability for rest of my friends.
So here it goes after read this post you will make your PENDRIVE BOOTABLE without using any kinds of software..
Follow these simple STEP to accomplish your next mission

Make sure you have a Pendrive or USB drive with a minimum of 4 GB space and you have the Windows 7 installation DVD. This tutorial is best suited if you have a Windows 7 DVD with you else you need to change it

Format the Pendrive or USB drive in NTFS format first.

From the start menu right click on the command prompt and select “Run as administrator“.

Now type the following commands (Press enter key after each command).

diskpart. This is to open the disk partition program.

Now to show the list of drives type list disk.

You can see disk’s listed there. Note down the disk number of your pendrive eg. Disk .

Now type SELECT DISK X (where X is the number you noted down for the pendrive from step 5)

Now type CLEAN.

Now type the following commands by pressing enter after each one.

CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY

SELECT PARTITION 1 (Assuming your pendrive/ USB drive is 1).

ACTIVE

FORMAT FS=NTFS

ASSIGN

EXIT(Now the disk partition program will exit). Now we need to give some more commands.

Now insert the Windows 7 Installation DVD and to your DVD drive.

Here i am assuming DVD drive as G and Pendrive as I.(Change it accordingly).

Now type G:CD BOOT

Now type this command BOOTSECT.EXE/NT60 I: to update your USB drive with bootmgr code.

Finally copy all the contents from the Windows 7 DVD to your Pendrive. Make sure you don’t cause any errors.

Plug / Insert your pendrive to your PC and restart the system.

Now Enter the Bios system accordingly by pressing the key delete.(This may vary some times it will be F2 or F12. It depends on the type of your system. Any how during the start up your system will display which key to press to enter the Bios).

Now select the USB/ Pendrive as the first boot driver.(Set the first boot priority to USB drive.).

Now save the settings in Bios and restart and you will be able to Install Windows 7 using that pendrive.

enjoy with me new ways of hacking...!!! :)

thanks for reading :)

REMOVE LINUX FROM PC SAFLY

First of all you need to know where your Linux OS is installed to. that is what drive it is currently living on. Bear in mind that Linux formats the drive as HFS rather than Fat/Fat32 or NTFS. ( These are the file systems used by various Operating Systems).

So HFS Partitions are not seen by windows, so its hidden.

To remove the partitions of Linux in WindowsXP go to your 'Control panel' > Administrative Tools > Computer Management

Open 'Disk Management' and you will see your Linux drives recognized as 'Unknown Partition' plus the status of the drive. Bearing in mind you know what partition and disk you installed to it will be easier to recognize as the drive/partition where you had installed it to.

Once you have identified the drives, 'right-Click' on the drive/partition and select 'Delete Logical Drive'

Once you have followed this through, you will now have free space.

This next part is very important. Once you have formatted the drive, re format it as your required file system type. either Fat32 or NTFS. Now the important part is coming up !

Fixing your Master Boot Record to make Windows Bootable again.

Have a Windows Boot disk with all the basic DOS Commands loaded on to the disk. A standard Windows 98/Me Boot Disk will work too.

Type in the DOS command :

e.g, from your C:\

fdisk /mbr

Or use your Windows XP run the recovery console, pick which xp install you would like to boot in to (usually you will pick #1)

then type: fixmbr. Answer Y to the dialoge.

Your master boot record will now be restored and Windows XP will be bootable once again. Your System will be restored with your original boot loader that you got with Windows XP.

Bit Torrent Tutorials KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT BITTORRENT

The first things you need to know about using Bit Torrent:

-- Bit Torrent is aimed at broadband users (or any connection better than dialup).
-- Sharing is highly appreciated, and sharing is what keeps bit torrent alive.
-- A bit torrent file (*.torrent) contains information about the piece structure of the download (more on this later)
-- The method of downloading is not your conventional type of download. Since downloads do not come in as one
big chunk, you are able to download from many people at once, increasing your download speeds. There may be
100 "pieces" to a file, or 20,000+ pieces, all depending on what you're downloading. Pieces are usually small (under 200kb)
-- The speeds are based upon people sharing as they download, and seeders. Seeders are people who constantly
share in order to keep torrents alive. Usually seeders are on fast connections (10mb or higher).

In this tutorial, I will be describing it all using a bit torrent client called Azureus. This client is used to decode the .torrent files into a useable format to download from other peers. From here on out, I will refer to Bit Torrent as BT.

Which BT client you use, is purely up to you. I have tried them all, and my personal favorite is Azureus for many reasons. A big problem with most BT clients out there, is that they are extremely CPU intensive, usually using 100% of your cpu power during the whole process. This is the number one reason I use Azureus. Another, is a recently released plug-in that enables you to browse all current files listed on suprnova.org (the #1 source for torrent downloads).

Before you use the plug-in, take a look at /http://www.suprnova.org, and browse the files. Hold your mouse over the links, and you'll notice every file ends in .torrent. This is the BT file extension. Usually, .torrent files are very small, under 200kb. They contain a wealth of information about the file you want to download. A .torrent file can contain just 1 single file, or a a directory full of files and more directories. But regardless, every download is split up into hundreds or thousands of pieces. The pieces make it much easier to download at higher speeds. Back to suprnova.org. Look at the columns:

Added | Name | Filesize | Seeds | DLs (and a few more which aren't very useful.)

I'll break this down.
Added: Self explanitory, its the date the torrent was added.
Name: Also self explanitory.
Filesize: Duh
Seeds: This is how many people are strictly UPLOADING, or sharing. These people are the ones that keep .torrent files alive. By "alive", I mean, if there's no one sharing the .torrent file, no one can download.
DLs: This is how many people currently downloading that particular torrent. They also help keep the torrent alive as they share while they download.

It's always best to download using a torrent that has a decent amount of seeders and downloaders, this way you can be assured there's a good chance your download will finish. The more the better.

Now that you should understand how torrent files work, and how to use them, on to Azureus!
First, get JAVA! You need this to run Azureus, as java is what powers it. Get Java here: /http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html
Next, get Azureus at: /http://azureus.sourceforge.net
Next, get the Suprnovalister plugin from /http://s93732957.onlinehome.us/storage/suprnovalister.jar

Install Java JRE before you do ANYTHING.

Install Azureus, and then in the installation folder, create 2 more folders. ./Plugins/suprnovalister (For example, if you installed Azureus to C:\PROGRAM FILES\AZUREUS, create C:\PROGRAM FILES\AZUREUS\PLUGINS\SUPRNOVALISTER). Next, put the suprnovalister.jar file that you downloaded, in that folder.

Load up Azureus, and if you want, go through the settings and personalize it.

The tab labeled "My Torrents" is the section of Azureus you need the most often. That lists all your transfers, uploads and downloads. It shows every bit of information you could possibly want to know about torrents you download.

In the menu bar, go to View > Plugins > Suprnova Lister. This will open up a new tab in Azureus. Click on "Update Mirror". This will get a mirror site of suprnova.org containing all current torrent files available. Once a mirror is grabbed, choose a category from the drop-down box to the left and click "Update". Wah-lah, all the available downloads appear in the main chart above. Just double click a download you want, and bang its starting to download. Open the "My Torrents" tab again to view and make sure your download started.

After your download has finished, be nice, and leave the torrent transferring. So people can get pieces of the file from you, just as you got pieces from other people.

Alternatively, if you don't want to use the plugin... you can just head to suprnova.org and download files to any folder. Then go to File > Open > .torrent File in Azureus.

This should about wrap it up for the Bit Torrent Tutorial. If you guys think of anything I should add, or whatnot, just let me know and I'll check into it.

How To Boot Xp Faster (updated)

First of all, this tweak only apply to those who only have one HDD on their primary IDE channel (nothing else on device 0 or 1) and a CD-ROM and/or DVD-ROM on the secondary IDE channel. Each time you boot Windows XP, there's an updated file called NTOSBOOT-*.pf who appears in your prefetch directory (%SystemRoot%Prefetch) and there's no need to erease any other files as the new prefetch option in XP really improves loading time of installed programs. We only want WindowsXP to boot faster and not decrease its performance. Thanks to Rod Cahoon (for the prefetch automation process...with a minor change of mine) and Zeb for the IDE Channel tweak as those two tricks, coupled together with a little modification, result in an EXTREMELY fast bootup:

1. Open notepad.exe, type "del c:windowsprefetch tosboot-*.* /q" (without the quotes) & save as "ntosboot.bat" in c:

2. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "gpedit.msc".

3. Double click "Windows Settings" under "Computer Configuration" and double click again on "Shutdown" in the right window.

4. In the new window, click "add", "Browse", locate your "ntosboot.bat" file & click "Open".

5. Click "OK", "Apply" & "OK" once again to exit.

6. From the Start menu, select "Run..." & type "devmgmt.msc".

7. Double click on "IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers"

8. Right click on "Primary IDE Channel" and select "Properties".

9. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab then on the device 0 or 1 that doesn't have 'device type' greyed out select 'none' instead of 'autodetect' & click "OK".

10. Right click on "Secondary IDE channel", select "Properties" and repeat step 9.

11. Reboot your computer.

WindowsXP should now boot REALLY faster.

RE-ENABLING VIRTUAL CD-ROM HIDDEN FEATURE IN ALL HUAWEI DATA CARD WHICH DISAPPEAR AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE

RE-ENABLING VIRTUAL CD-ROM HIDDEN FEATURE IN ALL HUAWEI DATA CARD WHICH DISAPPEAR AFTER FIRMWARE UPDATE
To re-enable virtual CD-rom or enable hidden features in Huawei data card you can use "AT- command" below is the way to do that read it carefully.

Huawei AT-commandsThis is a featured page

note: Some devices like the Huawei K3715 seem to require AT-commands to be typed in capital letters!

There are a couple of options for disabling and re-enabling the following USB-components of Huawei USB-modems:

  • modem (M)
  • NAND-flashmemory drive (CD)
  • microSD-drive (SD)
  • PC UI interface (UI)
  • network adapter (N)
  • smartcard (SC)
To disable or re-enable those components run the following AT-command, where n is one of the numbers from the table below:

AT^U2DIAG=n

On some models it is possible to read the present value of the parameter n by sending command:
AT^U2DIAG?
